FIXED PROSTHESES

Crown: If the diminished part of tooth as a result of decay, abrasion or breaks are so big that can't be topped up by filling, or if previously made very big and wide filling becomes disharmonized and cannot be retreated by filling, we apply crowns. We cut some part of tooth and cover it with a superficial substance. In this process, called single porcelain crown coating, we use endurable materials such as metal or zirconium, as infrastructure of porcelain.

Bridge: Although gaps that form after loss of tooth can be treated successfully by implants, the cases where we cannot apply implant are treated with fixed bridges. The teeth on the right and left of the gap are cut, and bridge prosthesis is completed in 3 dentist visits on average, varying according to the material used. In cases of lack of several teeth, we place implants on any gap that do not allow bridging, and then place bridges made of porcelain on the implants, and relieve the patient from removable dentures.

Fixed prostheses are porcelain works frequently used by dentists in front teeth aesthetical works. Patients having problems with image of their teeth get a healthy and beautiful form, with teeth coating suitable for the shape of their face. The patient gets his/her ideal smile, and recovers the lost function, that is an effective chewing.

Temporary prostheses: After cutting tooth, we produce and place temporary teeth made of plastic, on the same day until the permanent teeth are completed, in order to prevent the sensitivity of cut teeth, and partially relieve the aesthetical problem. With temporary teeth, the patient can continue with his/her social life, and comfortably eat food.

Importance of Crown – Bridge prostheses;
* Allow for healthy biting and chewing.
* Change your image and smile, make you happier and more self-confident.
* In time after loss of tooth the tooth beneath the gap starts to slide and tumble. Thus, the distance among other teeth opens, and if the gap is on the lower part, the upper teeth start to extend downwards. As a result, proportion of upper and lower chins is impaired, creating functional and aesthetical losses, in addition to gum problems. Crown bridge prostheses prevent all such problems.
* They are easy-to-use prostheses, which are not removable after fixing on teeth.
